FREE ON-SITE CAMPING pretty much says it all,
but if you are camping, please inform yourself by reading the
text below and do you part to ensure the weekend runs smoothly.
Things you need to know
Guidelines
Things
You Need to Know:
- Where
to Pitch Your Tent – If you want to set up your tent
in one place for the whole weekend, the only place to do that is
in the south west corner of Fletcher’s – behind the goals
posts. You are welcome to camp next to the Clubhouse on the west
side, but you will have to pack your tent up in the morning. Tents
may only be pitched on the West Fields out of respect for residents
to the east. Thank you.
- When: 7:00 PM Friday June 20, 2003
- 7:00 PM Friday June 22,2003
- Clubhouse – Cleats are not permitted in the clubhouse.
- Bring Cash – you’ll need it for drinks and extra food
etc.
- Eating Equipment
- You’ll be unhappy if you don’t remember
to bring your own cutlery and plates and bowls and mugs. Don’t
not remember. CAPTAINS MAKE SURE your team members know they are
responsible for their own eating devices.
- Washrooms – Keep
them clean because they will not be cleaned throughout the weekend.
There are showers, see above.
- Drinking – Please
read the info provided in the Tourney Info section above.
- Music – Loud
music/noise outside the clubhouse must cease at 10:30 PM out of respect
for local residents. Inside the clubhouse....well
that's another matter!
Guidelines:
- Be tidy -
clean up after yourselves and your team mates and your fellow campers.
Fletcher's Fields is a private club where
we are guests. Please respect the staff and the property.
- Campers will be pitching
their tents very close to the fields; there is plenty of space that does not
interfere
with the
fields. However, should you pitch your tent on field space, it will
be necessary to take your tent down - or move it - in the morning(s).
- No Open Fires
- MOST IMPORTANT - Most likely
the behaviour of those camping will decide whether or not we will be invited
back. Please take
this responsibility to heart.
